What's New
You are looking at it! After a 18 months of planning and behind-the-scenes work, Blackstone River Theatre at long last has a newly-designed website! I want to thank Courtney Autumn Martin and Adam Peck who did the re-design concept for us and I especially want to thank Tricia Brunelle who has served as BRT's webmaster for 17 years and who has also created what you see here today ... I hope you will look around the site as we have added many new pictures, features and content.
The site will certainly be a work-in-progress as I get used to working in our new content management system, but the good news is that I will be able to get updates and changes out in a far more timely manner than in the past. We will also be adding a PayPal component this year so we can begin taking payment for classes and donations initially and soon, for tickets as well ... We hope you like the new look!
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CAME TO THE 2016 SUMMER SOLSTICE FESTIVAL!
We had an incredibly beautiful day, some tremendous music and dance, and our biggest crowd yet ... we are already looking forward to this year's festival which will be on June 17, 2017.
CONCERTS AND CLASSES @ Blackstone River Theatre

BRT receives Champlin Foundations grant and a State Cultural Facilities Grant
Throughout the summer and into winter, Phase One of our capital improvement plans has been underway. Support for this project was provided by the Champlin Foundations and also by a State Cultural Facilities Grant awarded by the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. Window repair and renovation was completed by Architectural Preservation Group and we also replaced our fire-rated, room darkening curtains in the main hall with the work being done by KEP Interior Designs. In January, heating and air conditioning was installed by JMB Mechanical Inc. on the mezzanine level ... stay tuned for more improvements!
