UPDATED 12/28/2020
With the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Blackstone River Theatre must follow local, state and national guidelines and remain closed to in-person classes until further notice.
The dates below are obviously not correct but kept in place for class descriptions. We hope to resume our full class schedule in Fall 2021.

Rhythm Bones workshop with Dean Robinson

There will be a rhythm bones workshop offered on Sunday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to noon with Dean Robinson (CONTINUING beginner level). Minimum of 6 students needed to hold workshop; maximum of 10 students. Cost is $15.00. Students must have own set of bones to use in class; let us know of you need a referral where to buy them!

Blackstone River Theatre will hold another TOTAL BEGINNER rhythm bones workshop in Fall, 2020.

Dean Robinson has been studying and playing Irish percussion and rhythm bones for several years. He has attended rhythm bones workshops in Ireland and has also participated in local bones workshops conducted by Steve Brown, two-time All Ireland rhythm bones champion. Robinson is a member of the Rhythm Bones Society and plans to compete in the All Ireland Bone Playing Championship at Fleadh by the Feale in Abbeyfeale, Ireland in May, 2020.

So we can be assured of meeting the minimum needed to hold any of our class offerings, BRT NEEDS PRE-PAYMENT AT LEAST 3 DAYS BEFORE THE START OF ANY CLASS (and hopefully sooner!) or we'll need to cancel at that time.
