Our next rhythm bones workshop will be held November 6, 2022. TOTAL beginner is from 12-12:50 p.m., and CONTINUING beginner from 1-2 p.m. Email brt@riverfolk.org if you may be interested!

We are excited to have STEVE BROWN in attendance for these workshops and he will have various kinds of rhythm bones for sale! Steve has been making and playing bones since the early 1980s and has been Executive Director of the Rhythm Bones Society for almost 20 years.

Rhythm Bones workshops with Dean Robinson 

There will be two rhythm bones workshop with Dean Robinson offered on Sunday, November 6. TOTAL beginner is from 12-12:50 p.m., and CONTINUING beginner from 1-2 p.m. Minimum of 5 students needed to hold each workshop; maximum of 8 students. Cost is $15.00. Students must have own set of bones to use in class; we can lend some but this is a rare chance to purchase a great pair from Steve Brown!

Dean Robinson has been studying and playing Irish percussion and rhythm bones for the past five years. He has conducted and participated in rhythm bones workshops locally and in Ireland and competed in the All Ireland Bones Playing Championship in Abbeyfeale, Ireland in May, 2022. Robinson performs with the band Turas and also plays regularly at Irish music sessions in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

HOW TO REGISTER 
So we can be assured of meeting the minimum needed to hold any of our class offerings, BRT NEEDS PRE-PAYMENT AT LEAST 3 DAYS BEFORE THE START OF ANY CLASS (and hopefully sooner!) or we'll need to cancel at that time.

NOTE: Blackstone River Theatre no longer requires masks or proof of vaccination status. If you wish to still wear a mask that is of course totally fine!
