Aubrey Atwater will offer a 3-week series of workshops in Irish whistle for continuing beginners on April 3, 10, and 17, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Fee is $75. Prepayment is necessary! Just started playing whistle and want to learn more in a group setting? Here’s your chance! You’ll learn a few very simple pieces and continue to explore fingering, clarity of notes, breath control, and the ornamentation and dynamics that create the haunting Celtic sound we all love so much. Please bring a key of D tin whistle and a recording device to class.
