Eastern Medicine Singers are an Algonquin drum group from Rhode Island dedicated to keeping the eastern woodlands native American culture alive. The drum group is made up of RI, NY, NJ & Southeastern Massachusetts Tribes and they take pride in drumming and singing in the language of Massachusett and Wampanoag dialect. Eastern Medicine Singers, led by Daryl Black Eagle Jamieson, create new music and combine stories and culture into the drum experience. They have kicked off the Summer Solstice Festival for the last 6 years and we welcome them to our stage once again!
