Directions

Blackstone River Theatre is a red-brick building located at 549 Broad Street, Cumberland, Rhode Island. If you are from the area, you know the location as "across the street from where Ann & Hope used to be!" We have a 38-car parking lot to the left of the theater and there is additional off-street parking available next door thanks to our friends at Open MRI of New England. The main entrance of the building is in front through the wooden doors. A sloped walkway to the left of the building offers entrance for those with handicapped-access needs or if easily negotiating stairs is a problem.

From PROVIDENCE or ATTLEBORO AREA

Take Rte. 95 N to Mass. exit 2B (Rte. 1A N). Follow Rte. 1A N for 1.3 miles to light at intersection of Rtes. 1A & 123. Take left onto Rte. 123 W. Go straight through next light and follow Rte. 123 W for 2.2 miles. Go straight through light at intersection of Rte. 123 and Rte. 114. At next light (T intersection with large Ann & Hope sign) take a RIGHT onto Broad Street. Continue 2/10 miles. At your second light, take a right into the Theatre parking lot.

From POINTS WEST or PROVIDENCE

Take Rte.146 N to Rte. 123 East (Breakneck Hill Road exit). Take right off exit and follow Rte. 123 East for 3.1 miles. (Continue left/straight at light at Gulf station.) At 4th light (a T intersection with CVS across the street), take a LEFT onto Broad Street. Continue 6/10 miles. At your third light, take a right into the Theatre parking lot.

From WORCESTER

Take Rte. 146 S to Rte. 295 NORTH and follow to Exit 11 - Cumberland. Take RIGHT off Cumberland Exit 22 (OLD EXIT 11) (Rte. 114, Diamond Hill Road). Follow Rte. 114 S for about 2.5 miles; across from the Valley Falls Fire Station, TAKE A RIGHT, following sign and continuing on Rte. 114 S (also called Blackstone Street.) Follow to bottom of the hill, then take a LEFT on Broad St. and a LEFT into the Theatre parking lot. The theatre is the first building on your left.

From BOSTON and POINTS NORTH

Take Rte. 95 S to Rte. 295 S. Take left off Cumberland Exit 22 (OLD EXIT 11) (Rte. 114, Diamond Hill Road). Follow Rte. 114 S for about 2.5 miles; across from the Valley Falls Fire Station, TAKE A RIGHT, following sign and continuing on Rte. 114 S (also called Blackstone Street.) Follow to bottom of the hill, then take a LEFT on Broad St. and a LEFT into the Theatre parking lot. The theatre is the first building on your left.

From POINTS SOUTH (RI and CONNECTICUT)

Take Rte. 95 N to Rte. 295 N. Take RIGHT off Cumberland Exit 22 (OLD EXIT 11) (Rte. 114, Diamond Hill Road). Follow Rte. 114 S for about 2.5 miles; across from the Valley Falls Fire Station, TAKE A RIGHT, following sign and continuing on Rte. 114 S (also called Blackstone Street.) Follow to bottom of the hill, then take a LEFT on Broad St. and a LEFT into the Theatre parking lot. The theatre is the first building on your left.
