Our next advanced and intermediate fiddle classes will start up again in April, 2024: Email [email protected] if you are interested in any level. Students must bring: own fiddle and bow, a music stand, and a recording device. Both playing by ear and some sight reading will be included. Players will be placed in all classes by the instructor’s evaluation of skill level. Prepayment necessary!
Spring 2024 Fiddle Classes – April/May
ADVANCED FIDDLERS will be on TUESDAYS, 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. (75-minute class)
DATES: April 2, 9, 16, 23 and May 7, 14, 21, 28 (8 week session – $160)
INTERMEDIATE FIDDLERS will be on THURSDAYS, 7:30 – 8:45 p.m. (75-minute class)
DATES: April 4, 11, 18, 25 and May 9, 16, 23, 30 (8 week session – $160)
Cathy Clasper Torch is a multi-instrumentalist whose primary focus is fiddle/violin and piano. She combines her early classical training with love of improvisation and music of all genres and cultures.
