DIRECTIONS/PARKING

The Blackstone River Theatre Summer Solstice Festival will be held at Diamond Hill Park which is located on Diamond Hill Rd. (Rte. 114) in Cumberland, Rhode Island.

Take Rte. 95 North or South OR Rte. 146 North or South to Rte. 295.

IF COMING FROM BOSTON OR POINTS NORTH, take Rte. 295 South to Exit 11, Cumberland, and take a RIGHT off of the exit onto Rte. 114 North (Diamond Hill Road.) Follow Rte. 114 North for just under 4 miles. Diamond Hill Park will be on your right.

IF COMING FROM CONNECTICUT OR POINTS SOUTH, take Rte. 295 North to Exit 11, Cumberland, and take a LEFT off of the exit onto Rte. 114 North (Diamond Hill Road.) Follow Rte. 114 North for just under 4 miles. Diamond Hill Park will be on your right.

Named for its mile-long face of veined granite quartz, Diamond Hill provides a number of recreation opportunities. The view from the top of Diamond Hill, formerly a small ski slope, is spectacular and there are a number of hiking trails to explore all over the park.

PARKING will be FREE and will be on-site. As you pull into the park, volunteer parking attendants will guide you to the proper areas... please be patient and follow their guidance! We need to be careful in regard to vehicle placement in order to optimize the number of vehicles we can accommodate while maintaining fire lanes and exit lanes. Please also pay attention to the posted one-way signage on site!

If someone in your party will have a difficult time walking from your parking spot, DROP THEM OFF at the top of the lot near the festival entrance and have them wait while you park your vehicle.

PLEASE CARPOOL IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!

Limited handicapped-accessible parking will be available as well as special spaces for artists, volunteers and vendors. Check with parking attendants upon arrival.

Diamond Hill Park is navigational for a wheelchair as there is a paved pathway that runs around the park; all stages are easily accessible (though on grassy areas) except the children's area and one music stage which consists of some hilly terrain.

SATELLITE/SHUTTLE PARKING: A passenger vehicle has been generously donated by Peter Conway of CONWAY TOURS and will be in operation between 1 PM and 7 PM to shuttle festival-goers to and from the farther parking spots near the ballfields and if necessary, from our satellite parking site.

After all the parking spots at Diamond Hill Park are full, we will begin to utilize our satellite parking site which is located at the Bentley Field ballpark parking lot on Rte. 114 near the Nate Whipple Highway intersection.
