The first-ever Blackstone River Theatre Celtic Festival took place on July 21, 2007, at Cumberland's Diamond Hill Park. A beautiful day and a bright sun shone over four stages of entertainment in front of 2,000 audience members as friends, fans, neighbors and area residents fanned out throughout the park. Some strolled along to absorb the scene, while others set up chairs and blankets to prepare for performances.
