The Broad Street Ceili Band plays a variety of traditional Irish dance music while mixing in occassional waltzes. During their festival sets, Irish set dances will alternate with ceili dances taught by Barry and Pat Callahan. Experienced dancers will be on hand to help guide complete beginners or those new to the tradition. The Band features Bob Drouin on fiddle, Ron Lister on concertina, Chuck Papini on tenor banjo, Josh Kane on flute, Marianne Kane on bodhran and newest member Kevin O'Brien on piano. The emphasis is on fun, learning by doing! No partners are necessary and the Band will encourage festival-goers to try a dance as they listen to some great music!
