Booking Policy

UPDATED 12/15/2023

Blackstone River Theatre is currently fully booked through May, 2024.

Booking information: Contact Russell Gusetti, Executive Director at [email protected]

Blackstone River Theatre predominantly books professional ethnic, folk, roots and traditional musicians with a focus on Celtic artists and the music of those ethnic groups that have settled in the Blackstone River Valley. Although we occasionally book contemporary singer-songwriters, acoustic blues, jazz, bluegrass and classical performers, these genres are presented much less frequently.

Blackstone River Theatre books from mid-September through mid-May. We also present five concerts each summer as part of our Take It Outside Concert Series held behind the theater building. Because of a five-day-a-week class schedule at BRT, concerts are presented on Saturdays or Sundays with very occasional Friday concerts. Blackstone River Theatre books 6 to 10 months out!

While BRT is dedicated to presenting the best of regional and local performers, the majority of our bookings are with professional artists with strong national and/or international reputations. If you are a local musician who plays many other local venues in the area, or an out-of-state musician with little or no Rhode Island/Massachusetts fan base, it is unlikely that we will be interested in a booking.

If you feel that your music may be a fit with BRT’s programming after looking at our schedule and past performers, first contact Russell Gusetti by e-mail to check on our level of interest.
